Why T.O.M.S.?

Don't get me wrong, I'm not out to replace our local dealer's service departments. Oviously, our dealers are an integral part of the motorcycling community. They, along with many aftermarket vendors are continually striving to provide us all with new and innovative products and services. But unlike them, as an independent technicion I inhabit a unique market niche of my own that can be truly beneficial to you the rider. For example, I don't really "sell" anything here at The Other Motorcycle Shop. I just fix motorcycles....Using the parts and accessories unique to YOUR needs...And as a small, independent shop, I don't experience the huge overhead of  a large retail space or a first class sales staff to accomplish this. Obviously that can add up to BIG savings. In fact, I can typically perform many of the same procedures, using the same (or better) parts, tools and equipment for about thirty to forty percent less in actual shop rate costs than a large dealer can.

And be assured, you will be treated with dignity and respect here. You won't find yourself peering through the tiny, wire meshed, bullet proof window of a LOCKED shop door, wondering if the people who are actually "working" on your bike were ever really informed of your needs... At T.O.M.S. there is no shop door. I will personally keep you up to date and informed every step of the way. I've been misled and lied to myself by out of touch service managers who don't communicate with their customers. I know how it feels...
